N:"Tom Cawley's" and "McGreevy's favourite," were recorded by Johnny McGreevy, a great
N:fiddler in Chicago, where he was born of Mayo and Galway parents. He died in August,
N:1990. "Tom Cawley's Jig" is attributed to a great fiddler from Dooncastle, Co.
N:Sligo, close to the Mayo border near Charlestown, an area which produced a lot of
N:great fiddlers, the best known of whom was the late Johnny Henry.
